Willowsong Midwifery Care will be screening two movies from the four-part DVD series: More Business of Being Born, the follow-up documentaries to The Business of Being Born, produced by Ricki Lake. This latest work continues their provocative and entertaining exploration of the modern maternity care system and has stirred a popular movement, creating a paradigm shift in how women and men are thinking about BIRTH.

Willowsong Midwifery Care is in the process of developing Healing Passages Birth & Wellness Center; Des Moines' only freestanding, midwifery-run birth center, slated to open June 2012.
In an effort to build awareness and raise funds for our community project and change how women and men think about BIRTH, Willowsong is hosting Healing Passages Building Fundraiser at Jasper Winery!
Please join us for an exciting evening featuring live music, wine tastings, and a live auction. All proceeds from the event will be put towards the funding of the developing birth and wellness center, Healing Passages Birth & Wellness Center.
