The American Legion Post 1976 out of North Liberty, Iowa is proud to host the annual Stouts, Sours and Oysterfest at the Club 76 The Lodge in the beautiful surrounds of Lake McBride.
This is the biggest fundraiser for the American Legion Post 1976 - proudly serving freshly shipped in oysters, a variety of other seafood dishes and a selection of over 18 Stouts and Sours for your enjoyment. Both VIP bundle packages and General Admission tickets are available, including additional day-of food options available for purchase on site. Each ticket comes with your choice of one food order, drink tickets, and a taster glass. The VIP bundle allows early entry to the event and comes with a festival t-shirt, a commemorative glass, and additional drink tickets. There are a number of raffle and game opportunities during the event. A portion of the proceeds, and any additional donations benefit the American Legion Post 1976 in an effort to support community partners in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids Corridor.
A NOTE ABOUT COVID FOR THE 2021 FESTIVAL: Thank you for your patience to allow the American Legion planning committee additional time to organize a community event during these uncertain times. This year's event has been modified to be mindful of COVID health and safety concerns.
Limited Tickets Available: For everyone's safety, we are releasing fewer tickets and operating this year's event at 60% capacity. Because this is a much smaller event than in years past, ticket prices have increased $10. However, we are providing additional food with each ticket purchase and extra seating options. COVID has adversely affected many non-profit organizations this past year. Our American Legion has been unable to offer the variety of fundraising events compared to previous years. We greatly appreciate your support of this event so we can continue to serve our community.
Outdoor Seating: This is primarily an outdoor event - PLEASE DRESS ACCORDINGLY FOR THE WEATHER. We have extra outdoor table seating available this year with approximately 10 large picnic tables on a first-come basis and additional outdoor space should you wish to bring your own chairs to spread out. We also have a limited amount of OUTDOOR TABLE RESERVATIONS available to purchase (see below). There will be outdoor bathrooms only.
Indoor Seating: Our indoor bar will be closed except for a limited amount of seating for VIP ticketholders who purchase our INDOOR VIP TABLE reservation package. Only those with Indoor VIP table reservations will be allowed inside the bar.
Outdoor Beer Tents: Additional beer tents will be outdoors so all ticket holders, regardless of being indoors or outdoors, will have full access to all the food and beer options.
