It's your choice on how you pay the fees. You can have your attendees pay for all the fees by adding them on top of your ticket price. This is how a majority of our clients choose to handle fees. However another option is to include them into the total price of the ticket. That way consumers are paying the advertised price, making for happy buyers!
At MIDWESTIX we customize the event proceed payouts according the to the nature of your event(s). For example, a long term, on-going venue might receive a bi-weekly direct deposit. But for one-time events, proceeds will be distributed immediately after the event. We accommodate many payment options to meet your needs as well as ACH or check remattances.
Using the MIDWESTIX Merchant Account is the easiest way to accept payment when you set up an account with us. In most cases it is the cheapest and smoothest option for organizers and attendees. We're PCI compliant, so your know your transactions are secure. In the US, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. For organizations with established merchant accounts, we're also able to integrated with all of the major payment gateways.
