Crossroads

For seven years, we produced the Midwest’s premiere entertainment conference called Crossroads Entertainment Conference and Showcase. From booking keynotes and panels, arranging a food and beverage showcase, facilitating juried music and visual art showcases, securing vital sponsorships and strategic partnerships, plus ticketing and marketing the event, we provided a unique experience for entertainment professionals across five difference genres of entertainment in the Upper Midwest. At it’s height, Crossroads featured over 30+ seminars, workshops, and panels over the span two days and at night attendees experienced a of regional music, visual art, film, theater and food/beverage.

75th Anniversary

For the City of Windsor Heights, MIDWESTIX was hired to do a strategic engagement plan and implementation of special events for the 75th Anniversary.  Working with key members in the city we were able to build new revenue opportunities, grow the city’s volunteer base, provide cohesive marketing materials and produce new or enhance existing events in the community.

Some of the highlights of our execution included a 200 historical photo exhibit and gala, a specialty beer and wine, a 75th anniversary video, a 75th Logo, and a variety of specialty events throughout the year. MIDWESTIX also provided a strategic engagement plan, sponsor procurement and PR management for the city around all 75 year anniversary events.

DM Water Works

As a board member for the DMWW Foundation, Kathryn chaired the marketing committee which created LAUNCH.  This event brought the community into Water Works Park to explore its many recreational opportunities. It also activated over 40 environmental and recreational organizations, in addition to attracting 3 new corporate partners. MIDWESTIX was responsible for event development, management, production, vendor and talent procurement, all marketing materials, and sponsorship procurement.
